Night Oils is the name I give a group of small paintings: 5" x 8" or smaller. They are titled as such because I often "burn the night oil" to paint them. While not being daily paintings, their size and intent follows in that genre. 

Their intimate size creates a sense of surprise, providing a slice of color practically anywhere in your home or office. 

Their affordable price allows one to have original art in in your everyday life. They make pleasing groupings.

Night Oils cost about the same as  a nice bouquet of flowers. But they last forever. Making them a wonderful and special gift.         

If a certain object or subject matter has special meaning for you, and you don't see it here, send me an email. Maybe I can paint something appropriate for you or a loved one. I have had many very happy commission clients. A big part of the fun is in the planning.
